SAM MULLER
Sam Muller is The Hague Institute for Innovation of Law, HiiL’s founding director. He also led the setting up of the Wildlife Justice Commission and the Justice Leadership Group. Before that, he was closely involved in setting up the International Criminal Court (ICC) and the Yugoslav Tribunal (ICTY). He was also legal adviser at the UN refugee agency for Palestine refugees and taught international law.
Sam has published and spoken extensively, focusing mainly on justice innovation, justice leadership, and international justice issues. He holds a law degree and a doctorate in international law from Leiden University.
