Summary

Bali Recycling is a waste management company and operates a Material Recovery Facility. They collect waste from households, hotels, restaurants and other businesses and operate an integrated waste management system that focuses on reducing, reusing, recycling while also producing up-cycled products from certain waste components. Through their recovery process they extract or produce valuable byproducts from the dry waste to relieve the burden that is being put on the current natural resources, and sell some of these products as an alternative revenue stream. Bali Recycling runs a Recycling Club service for middle and low income households who can sell their recyclables for additional income. This is also a way to increase awareness of waste management challenges.

Bali Recycling operates just outside of Ubud, Bali, a town popular among tourists, and home to a number of high-end restaurants, hotels, and luxury villas, as well as approximately 35,000 local Balinese.
