Jocelyn joined the Business Development team in January 2017.

Prior to IIX, Jocelyn worked within impact-focused institutions across the United States and United Kingdom. She developed expertise in market-based approaches to development while a researcher at the Institute of Development Studies and a consultant for the Building Effective and Accessible Markets (BEAM) Exchange. Her work has also encompassed advising various NGOs and impact enterprises on strategic cross-sector partnerships and fundraising campaigns. As a labor of love, she co-founded Envision Austin, a social innovation course and competition for students at the University of Texas at Austin to discover social entrepreneurship.

Jocelyn’s professional experience has stengthened her belief in the power of innovation and collaboration to improve livelihoods worldwide. As a result, she is passionate about connecting people across sectors and spheres to develop sustainable solutions for today’s most pressing issues.

Jocelyn holds a M.A in Globalisation, Business, and Development from the Institute of Development Studies (IDS) in the United Kingdom and a B.A in Economics with honors from the University of Texas at Austin.
