IIX Spring 2013 Volunteers

IIX takes in outstanding Analysts and Associates throughout the year. The Spring 2013 Volunteers is below:

 

juan_profileJuan Garza is assisting the Social Enterprise team of IIX. He is actively involved in trading stock since his freshman year of high school, and has recently been inducted into Villanova University’s Equity Society, which is one of the only finance societies that actively trades equity with actual university endowment. He worked as a volunteer at the John A. Coleman School for children with various disabilities, and mentored elementary school children for the “Leadership Training Program” in Westchester County, New York. Juan also previously worked with Habitat for Humanity, constructing houses in the Appalachia region of Tennessee. Juan is a rising sophomore at Villanova University’s School of Business, majoring in Finance and Entrepreneurship.

 

Lauren Yean Lee Ho was Legal Counsel at the Central Bank of Luxembourg, where she advised the bank on European and Luxembourg banking and financial law. Prior to that, Lauren worked as a fund structuring legal advisor with Arendt & Medernach. She has also trained in the legal services department of the European Investment Fund and Allen & Overy Luxembourg. Before she turned corporate, she worked in the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Kuala Lumpur as a refugee status determination lawyer.  Lauren holds a 2:1 (honours) LLB from the University of Sheffield and a bilingual French-English LLM in European Banking and Financial Law from University of Luxembourg.
