2023 – 2024 Orange Index: Vietnam Impact Investment

The 2023-2024 Orange Index report, developed by Impact Investment Exchange (IIX) with support from Global Affairs Canada, introduces an essential framework for evaluating the social and environmental impact of Vietnam’s Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). As part of the Impact Investment Readiness Vietnam (IIRV) Project, the Orange Index assesses critical pillars—gender equality, community resilience, and climate action—offering investors transparent, data-driven insights to guide impactful decisions.

Vietnam has taken the lead in the region, showcasing strengths in gender equity and community well-being. However, the report also highlights areas ripe for development in climate action, providing a clear roadmap for future investments and policy improvements. By leveraging transparent, data-driven insights, the Orange Index elevates Vietnam’s standing as a hub for impact-driven businesses and sets a high standard for sustainable development across Southeast Asia.
